Job overview
This position will work with the Ooredoo Group Leadership Team, the OpCo Leadership and direct reports and the Associate Director IT Enablement will be accountable for the successful delivery of ESS Transformation Program by alignment of technology and digital strategies that will strengthen the ESS platform. The program aims to implement a unified way of working across Finance, Sourcing and Human Resources with clear roles and responsibilities that eliminates redundancy and promotes efficiency.
The role will ensure a coordinated approach throughout Ooredoo, enabling Ooredoo operations to execute their mandates effectively.
The Director will be accountable for TO-BE SAP architecture and effective migration and stabilization within the Program with the defined timeframes and budget.
The role will report into the Sr. Director Program Support Office and will be subject to Governance via the GMC and ESS SteerCo.

Responsible for governing services consistent with the to-be architecture design in alignment with business expectations
Supports in alignment of technology and digital strategies and strengthens ESS platform response to changes in the business environment and improving the alignment between business and IT strategy
Ensures implementation and sustenance of ESS technology platform to achieve the intended business objectives
Supports in architecture alignment of ESS and other strategic technology initiatives
Ensures ongoing alignment of IT roadmap and ESS strategies with business imperatives
Manages ESS technology Portfolio
Provides periodic status updates and participates in committee review meetings as required
Experience
10 years of Senior Management Experience
Minimum 5 years of IT Transformation and SAP experience
Minimum 5 years in sector industry
Deep knowledge and experience in SAP cloud technologies like ECC, S4HANA, SAAS, ABAP, BRF+, Fiori, BTP, SAC or Oracle Fusion, EBS
First-hand experience in setting up operational processes and tools
Familiar with ITIL framework
Experience on integrating legacy applications with SAP landscape
Proven experience in making organization adopt to new technologies
Proven experience in building standards, tools and support processes
Understanding of the dev-ops delivery model
Ability to review design documents, critique architecture recommendations from other SMEs
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders with diverse and divergent business needs, resolves conflicts and bring alignment towards a common and robust design in system.
Clear, concise business communication and experience conducting business requirements workshops with business users.
Extensive knowledge of software engineering from ground up or extensive knowledge of the technical services in the specific area and operations around them
Strong knowledge of how to lead and motivate in a large-scale IT organization with both people and technology focus
High level of energy and creativity for transformation, willingness to go the extra mile
Other: Regional and international travel
Qualifications
University degree, Master’ preferred
