Job overview
This role plays a key role in supporting digital procurement operations across the Group. The analyst is responsible for driving the data driven decision making across Ooredoo Group’s sourcing and procurement eco-system.
The role will lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of reporting, dashboards, and analytics across key procurement domains including sourcing, procurement operations, spend analytics, supplier management, and contract management.
In addition, the role will act as Level 1 (L1) functional support for sourcing systems (including Ariba and iCertis) in Ooredoo Group, ensuring smooth system usage, provides training to end users, and delivers high-quality data for category managers to support in decision making
The senior analyst will bridge business and technology by transforming procurement data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, compliance, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
Your impact on our goals
Tool & User Support (L1)
Act as first-line support for digital procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, iCertis, S4Hana).
Troubleshoot user issues, escalate where required, and ensure timely resolution.
Support users with guidance, and training, especially during system upgrades
Provide onboarding and refresher training to users on digital procurement tools
Work with AMS team on progressing OG driven change requests
Data Management & Cleansing
Coordinate with OpCos to collect and transform spend data as per the appropriate templates
Collect sourcing, procurement, supplier, contract and spend data from various sources to support quarterly and ad-hoc reporting requirements
Perform data cleansing, validation, and classification to ensure accuracy and consistency for procurement, spend and supplier data.
Maintain data quality standards as per Group policies and taxonomy.
Manage and governance of the spend analytics data enrichment definitions, rules and logics
Track data uploads from OpCos and support in data error resolution
Perform data cleansing and mapping to support data migration when required
Ensure data harmonization and compliance.
Analytics & Reporting Support
Support category managers with spend, savings, and supplier analytics.
Define, develop and track KPIs for sourcing, supplier management, contract and spend performance measurements
Build and update dashboards/reports (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to track key KPIs.
Provide structured data sets and insights that enable fact-based sourcing decisions.
Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing:
Identify recurring issues and propose process/tool improvements.
Contribute to knowledge base and documentation for digital procurement tools.
Benchmark reporting practices and introduce best-in-class analytics approaches
Support initiatives to drive user adoption on tools, processes, and best practices across OpCos.
Compliance & Audit Support
Coordinate with data governance team/s to define data objects, logics and framework for KPI calculation
Monitor adherence to procurement policies across sourcing, contract, and supplier modules through reporting
Perform periodic compliance check to ensure the S2C processes are fully digitized and identify any potential compliance risks.
Maintain detailed records of compliance activities and generate reports for audit and governance purposes.
KPI & Reporting Management
Extract relevant data to support the calculation of performance metrics for each OpCo.
Validate data accuracy prior to performance calculations to ensure reliable reporting.
Support OpCos in interpreting performance reports and implementing improvement measures.
Experience
3-5 years’ experience in procurement support, analytics, or digital tools.
Proficiency in Excel and data handling; knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
1-2 year experience with procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, iCertis, S4Hana).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data cleansing/validation activities.
Good communication skills with ability to deliver user training.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or Data Analytics or related fields..
