Duties & Responsibilities

 Role Summary

The Business Analyst role is to apply the proper knowledge and skills to turn raw data into information and insight, which can be used to drive business decisions. Additionally, candidate will be responsible for analysing sales data, ensuring the accuracy of commission calculations, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions

 

 

 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources that are required to analyse and study the commercial business trends and patterns.

  • Performing different data-related operations, including data extraction, verification, and preparation.

  • Producing and automating daily, weekly, and monthly reports relevant to different business areas.

  • Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of commercial campaigns and activities.

  • Developing and maintaining commercial KPIs dashboards, ensuring a proper definition and data consistency for the presented information.  

  • Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques to provide business with insights and recommendations.

  • Development of different statistical models to identify segments and profiles of subscribers, in addition to handling complex data projects.

  • Coordinate and follow up with IT and other stakeholders regarding projects related to reporting, BI, data requirements, and other related issues.

  • Develop and maintain reliable sources of information to be used in business analysis.

  • Provide actionable business insights that enhance sales strategies, product offerings, and commission models.

  • Prepare and maintain monthly commission calculation for staff and channels. Also Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency in commission process

  • Conduct sales performance analysis to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas of improvement across different regions, products, and sales channels.


Work Experience & Qualifications:

 

  • 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, commission-related roles, preferably, experience in the telecom industry is a plus.

  • University degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field.

  • Solid experience in data analysis, business analysis and data modelling.

  • Advanced skills in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, …)

  • Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools

  • General financial knowledge.

  • Good Project Management skills

  • Proficiency in English.
