Role Summary:

The BI & Analytics Engineer (Business Partner) is a hands-on analytics role within the IT organization who serves as the primary interface between technology teams and business (Commercial) stakeholders. The role translates business needs into governed, scalable BI and analytics solutions, ensuring consistent KPI definitions, high-quality data models, and actionable dashboards that support decision-making. The position combines technical delivery (data modeling, SQL, BI development) with stakeholder engagement to drive adoption, improve insight availability, and enable data-driven business decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. BI & Analytics Enablement

• Design, develop, and enhance commercial dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions in alignment with business priorities.

• Ensure timely delivery of trusted insights through strong data validation, consistency checks, and defined KPI logic.

• Support the modernization of reporting by migrating legacy reports into standardized BI models and modern platforms.

• Support the evolving work of AI and ML.

2. Business Partnership and cross-team coordination

• Serve as the primary analytics interface between the Commercial function and IT Data & Analytics teams.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for BI and data engineering delivery.

• Coordinate and track delivery of reporting requests, enhancements, and issues through formal channels (e.g., JIRA), ensuring timely closure and stakeholder updates.

3. Reporting & Analytics

• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build and maintain business-ready datasets and data marts required for commercial reporting and advanced analytics.

• Support automation of recurring reporting tasks and manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

• Enable commercial analytics use cases by ensuring reliable data availability.

4. Performance Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Identify reporting inefficiencies, data quality gaps, or workflow bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance service delivery.

• Work with technical teams to improve performance and stability of reporting datasets and data pipelines.

• Contribute to defining and maintaining commercial KPIs and monitoring mechanisms to ensure consistent performance measurement

5. Data Governance

• Assist in defining and enforcing data quality rules.

• Support data governance practices.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent in a related field.

• 3 years of experience in a similar field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

• Solid experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and data engineering.

• Strong and hands-on experience in SQL and data modelling

• Good knowledge in programming languages

• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP BO, etc.).
