About the Business Unit

The Technology Unit within Ooredoo is the backbone of the organization providing all technology services which enable Ooredoo to deliver its services to its customers across all technology platforms, 24/7/365. In other words, it's responsible for the management of all Ooredoo networks, technology infrastructure/ platforms and processes to achieve fast time-to-market, high operational efficiency, and support product/ service innovation, and ultimately drive the financial performance of Ooredoo. The infrastructure division is responsible for the plan, technical design, implementation, and modification including new and change requests for IaaS and ICT Platforms & for monitoring the operations including networking, storage, servers, virtualization / containerization, cloud computing.

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading the creation of a technology framework and providing technical expertise in cloud computing and automation

About You

5 years' experience in a similar role.

Experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations

Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments

Knowledge of all components of an technical architecture

Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes

Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies

Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or client/server systems

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer & Communications or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
