The Purpose
Plan, direct and control the SOC functions and operations. Ensure the monitoring and analysis of incidents to protect local and customers’ environment, addressing all security incidents and ensuring timely escalation.
Key Accountabilties & Responsiblities
Responsible for the infrastructure availability
Accountable to meet customers’ SLAs
Interface with Third-party/internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to B2B customers
Primarily responsible for directing security event monitoring, management and response and cyber intelligence
Ensuring incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring
Ensuring threat management, threat modelling, and developing use cases for security monitoring
First point of contact to escalate SOC operational requests/incidents
Responsible for new processes and procedures creations/ initiations
Maintain SOC operational processes and procedures, review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAs
Take leadership role and help the NOC/SOC engineers with their work and assignments
Schedule and manage the workload of the team and ensure optimum use of resources.
Work to improve employee performance through personal coaching and identifying training and development needs
Pre-sales and Sales support (solutions design, EPS calculation, BOQ, pricing, Business Cases, implementation estimates)
Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
Attend Training Programs, Courses, Seminars, conferences, vendor meetings, User Groups and presentations.
Other duties as directed by the Fulfilment and PMO Director
Qualifications
BE degree in Computer and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
Security certifications are a must
Requirements
A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience in Information and Communication Technologies (Networks, Security, etc.)
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Security products and SIEM tools
Systematic and process/procedures oriented
Good knowledge of ITIL.
Excellent customer/partner relationship skills
Good communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage
