Role Purpose

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Obtain Clearance from MOC for newly jumped lines.

• Jumper line as per details in MOC line card

• Giving update to Coordinator in Office to update system records.

• Remove line jumper from ISP & Jumper direct

•  MOC MDF jumper clean-up

• Remove jumper from FT MDF to free-up Ports

• Rectification of trouble tickets by changing Jumper and/or Ports.

• Follow-up with MOC for field cable related issues or internal cabling issues at customer end.

• Follow-up on Rectifier’s Alarms & arrange joined visits with vendors when necessary to rectify issues.

• Checking cooling in FT POPs & reporting to line supervisor to take the necessary action.

• Doing Electrical cable laying, dressing, Termination, Testing & Labelling In all FT remote site locations.

• Carrying out Weekly and Monthly Generator tests with Vendor.

•  Cleaning up of Filters in devices at FT-POPS.

• Reporting any potential problem found in exchanges and FT pops during filed visits

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Certificate.

• ITI Qualified Electrician Certificate is highly preferred.

• Kuwaiti Driving License.

• Field experience is desirable

Other Information

• Familiar with Electrical cable laying, Dressing, Termination and Testing.

•  Familiar with Electrical Testing Meters, Usage of Multi-Meter

• Cable & Equipment Labelling
