The Purpose

Plan and deliver strategy for campaigns and promotions, above the line (ATL) and below the line (BTL), for Ooredoo that establish and reinforce the desired Ooredoo image and corporate culture. Lead the advertising and communication to ensure all Ooredoo’s external communications and advertising meet commercial and corporate strategic objectives. Enhance competitive market performance within agreed deadlines, standards and budgets.

Key Accountabilties & Responsiblities
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans by planning and implementing promotional campaigns related to postpaid small and large screens.

  • Create and approve communication briefs and manage relationships with agencies and suppliers to execute the briefed campaigns and ensuring consistency of approach and conformity within approved corporate standards, allocated budgets and expected launch dates.

  • Create and deploy successful marketing campaigns, media plans (ATL, TTL, BTL) related to postpaid small and large screens and own their implementation from ideation to execution. In addition to Monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communications, gain insight and assess against goals.

  • Actively lead, build and manage all segments marketing communications and social media content to produce high quality publications and materials on time and within budget.

  • Evaluate effectiveness of communication by conducting and developing surveys, inquiries and other elements of communication performance management, in order to have a benchmark to compare future products to.

  • Develop the marketing roadmap that highlights all postpaid small and large screen deliverables, themes, topics, timing, and marketing channels to be used to promote the product/service/launch.

  •   Managing the production of marketing materials, and collaterals including Red Buzz and arranging for an effective distribution among sales channels.

  • Build and design new creative growth strategies and lead ANA project/digital initiatives for both prepaid and postpaid through digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

  • Designing, building and maintaining digital project/digital initiatives social media presence and assess performance against goals and KPIs.

  • Identify project/digital initiatives trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.

  • Evaluate End to end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points to optimize user experience

  • Develop new strategic digital approach and opportunity to increase visibility among competitors.

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.

  • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.

  • Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Advertising or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute

Requirements
  • 5-6 required years of relevant experience in advertising in the telecommunications sector

  • Well informed on the Kuwaiti advertising and media sector

  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.

  • Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and English

  • Creative flair and excellent presentation skillsStrong Creative skills

  • Strong Analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing / integrated campaign deployment
