Role Purpose

• This role will work across all ICT division for delivering fit for purpose enterprise quality solutions and defining operational system strategy for growth. The role will govern Enterprise architecture and align it to the target reference architecture defined by Ooredoo Group.

• This role will work closely with Core Architects to enable the ICT conversion strategy and the implementation of a fully integrated NFV architecture.

• This roles will also take care of the enterprise solution design and implementation with the main focus around ERP solutions.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• The role will manage the architecture governance for IT systems and prepare the current architecture blue print.

• Put the needed steps/projects/ programs to achieve the Target reference architecture that is fully aligned with Ooredoo Kuwait and group Strategy.

• Responsible for the overall System/ solutions architecture, High level & low level design,

• This role will work closely with Group Architects to promote best practice, sharing expertise and promoting the ICT Architecture program.

• This role will govern changes done by ADM vendor,

• This role will validate / govern the High level design for any project done in ICT

• Will be responsible for accessing risks and impacts of executing complex, high importance projects, and highlight their dependency.

• Provide technical expertise to other ICT team members.

• Perform internal and external negotiations to achieve high levels of quality and maximal functionality in the technical solutions selected.

• Provide guidelines on processes and document formulation within planning department for design, engineering and implementation aspects.

• Work closely with IT Solution team to define the network impact of   new technologies, features and system upgrades / enhancements.

• Identify, quantify and follow up issues likely to cause risk to the applications and systems.

• Evaluate different solutions/architecture is compliant with security policies.

• Provide & manage support on special projects as & when assigned by seniors & superiors.

• Assists the management in developing and implementing procedures and standards that will provide effective workflows.

• Design, Develop and deploy Enterprise support systems and productivity solutions.

• Work Hand in Hand with Enterprise architecture team to implement Target reference architecture (TRA)

• Work hand in hand with Application and infrastructure planners to streamline and align integration requirements.

• Lead & Conduct systems integration testing.

• Lead systems upgrade in the ESS domain.

• Support requirements from back office department: finance, supply chain and HR.

• Support finance in completing compliance solutions like IFRS15, IFRS 16, etc.

• Verify SI’s scope of work and technical designs.

• Technical document creation (Projects Specifications document, engagement documents, RFP’s and RFQ’s, Evaluation sheets, etc.) as per The Company processes & procedures

• Manage day to day issuing of work orders to operations team for any system change

•   Ensure any project completion and closure by obtaining sign off from all stakeholders.

• Evaluate and plan software capacity, licenses

• Aligning any new project or implementation with OOREDOO group target reference architecture.

• Participate and execute in OOREDOO group strategies and competency centres covering strategy drafting and knowledge sharing with Ooredoo OPCO’s.

• Contribute to team, providing day to day technical assistance where necessary.

• Take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.

• Other duties as directed by Sr. Manager / Management.

• Ensure that upper management is informed on all critical issues pertaining to the area responsible for and makes recommendation for improvements.

• Meet quality and performance KPI with supporting documents.

• Provides reports, make standard reports and tailor make them where necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Telecommunication / Electronic Engineering or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute

Other Information

• Very Good Telecom industry knowledge

• Very good knowledge of Business support systems, and enterprise support systems. 

• 5 to 6 years of relevant experience based on progression ladder.

• Knowledge of eTOM, TAM, NG-BOSS, ITIL, and TOGAF is an added advantage.

• Project Management skills is a plus.

• Very Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.

• Excellent command of both written and verbal English, Arabic would be an advantage.

• Excellent knowledge of SDLC and Project management.Strong Analytical, technical and problem resolution skills
